Our Story
Our story began in Portland, but it's taken many twists since. There are moments in life that you look back at, and with a degree of certainty, can say they have changed your life remarkably. We both knew in the first two days of knowing each other that we had met such a life moment. Life can be a very chaotic and noisy little thing, and in the moments you find peace, clarity, and comfort, you tend to listen. Needless to say, we listened.
Within days - hours, really - of knowing one another, we arranged a getaway the very next weekend in Brandon’s hometown of Park City, UT. As we lay watching clouds settle upon the mountains we each experienced moments that changed our lives even more than when we first met. Even in that very short time that we’ve known each other we knew immediately that this was it.
All that being said, we happened to have a very ugly thing living between us: Nevada. So, over the next several months, back and forth we flew. Each time, sharing fears. Exchanging laughs. Shedding tears. Moments of anger about the looming distance. But in all of it, one thing remained - us.
The photos here catalogue that transition, and the many moments of happiness and joy along the way. From them, we hope they truly paint the picture(s) of "us".
